This Mount Rainier-inspired art print has been a recent favorite of my craft show customers, and I can see why! It's a simple way to bring Pacific Northwest home decor into any style of home.
Inspired by the Naches Peak trail at Mount Rainier National Park, I painted this with watercolor with a modified local saying, "the Mountain is out."
One of my favorite stories recently was a customer who started tearing up when she saw this print. She told me that her mother had recently passed away, and one of her favorite memories was exploring the mountain with her mom. She purchased the art print so that she could have a reminder of her mom's love of Mount Rainier that she could look at every day in her home. Her mom, like many locals, had a special relationship with Mount Rainier, and that's what I aimed to express when creating this watercolor artwork. I hope it can inspire you as well.
