Introducing the Tacoma Parks Art Print

I've been continuing on my parks and trails series with alacrity, especially because I wanted to see if I could have the next art print ready in time for my upcoming market in Tacoma. This meant I was (joyfully) painting day and night over the weekend...and I couldn't stop with just four parks, so this new art print is 11" x 14" and includes six parks and gardens out of so many choices to visit in Tacoma!

This art print includes watercolor illustrations of the beautiful W.W. Seymour Conservatory (in Wright Park), Titlow Beach Park, Wapato Park, Tacoma Chinese Reconciliation Park, Point Defiance Rose Garden and Swan Creek Park. You can use this art print to inspire your outdoor explorations throughout the city, or simply to celebrate the natural beauty of Tacoma.

I think one of my favorite parts about working on the parks and trails series has been realizing how a neighborhood or city can be represented through its natural spaces. Even in the most urban of locations, you can find the calm and freshness of being in nature, whether it's exploring an old-growth forest in West Seattle's Schmitz Preserve Park or breathing in the carefully tended wildness of Tacoma's Point Defiance Rose Garden.

I'm pleased to say that that Tacoma parks art print has arrived and is now available in my online shop. I'm really happy with how colorful it turned out, and I can't wait to get started on my next set of parks excursions. I have a few different neighborhoods and cities in mind that I'd like to explore, so you'll have to wait and see what comes next.
