Graduation season is upon us, and I've been noticing an uptick in customers seeking graduation cards for the new grads in their family and friend circles. At craft markets, I usually direct them to one of four of my favorite graduation cards, perfect for encouraging young adults as they embark on the next stage of their lives.
Here are four favorite graduation cards for new grads:
Congrats, Ewe Did It!
A cheeky congratulations card for any event, but especially for graduates. This card features a Rocky Mountain big-horned sheep standing proudly on top of a mountain as the sun rises behind her. With its silly pun, this card is sure to bring a smile to the graduate who's feeling equally excited and nervous about their next step.
There Are Wonders Ahead
I love the message of this card, encouraging the new grad to look forward to all the discoveries they'll make about themselves and their lives in college. This card would also pair really well with Amber Rae's book, Choose Wonder Over Worry, which would be a fantastic gift for any graduate.
She Flies With Her Own Wings
This has been a popular graduation card at recent craft markets I've participated in, particularly the ones in Portland! Besides being a really lovely sentiment, this message is based on Oregon's state motto. One customer told me she was buying this card to give to her niece, in order to celebrate not only her graduation, but also how wonderfully independent her niece had become over the years.
What better way to fully embrace the accomplishment of one stage of education and perhaps moving on into college or the workforce! With an opportunity for higher education or a new job locked down, the graduate is a lucky duck indeed!
I hope these cards will help you to celebrate and encourage all the new grads in your life during this busy graduation season.
